LIS10 Gallery is pleased to present Street Echoes, Aboudia’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. One of the most compelling voices in contemporary African painting, the Ivorian artist translates the energy of the street into an immediate, layered visual language in which marks, words, symbols, and figures surface as fragments of urban memory.

The exhibition brings together a selection of recent works that convey the pulse of Abidjan through dense surfaces, vibrant colour, and an aesthetic that converses with graffiti, popular culture, and African iconography. A number of the works on view belong to the series produced by the artist for the 2022 Venice Biennale, marking a pivotal moment in his practice—where painting becomes an emotional and political archive of the present.

With Street Echoes, LIS10 Gallery opens a new chapter in its Hong Kong programme, offering local and international audiences a close encounter with a practice that combines urgency, visual poetry, and narrative power.
